The MMR consulting staff has grown to include a talented group of architects, engineers, project managers, educators, lobbyists, financial advisors, grant writers, and bond campaign specialists. MMR has been involved in over 100 major facility planning and construction projects since 1995. In 2002, MMR expanded its services to include comprehensive fundraising and foundation development services to address the specific needs of school foundations, churches and non-profits organizations.

As an exclusive representative of Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, Midwest Division, MMR began serving school districts throughout the Midwest with facility planning and construction management services. Today, school districts nationwide have come to rely on the expertise of MMR consultants and Kraus-Andersons' established history of building excellence. MMR has established a reputation for planning quality facilities that are completed on time, under budget, and inclusive of a purposeful design focus for the clients it serves.
MMR: Leadership for Changing Environments
E. Dale Birkeland the Founder and President of Midwest Management Resources. He has spent more than thirty years serving the Minnesota educational system as a Superintendent. Dale is the former president of the Minnesota Association of School Administrators Foundation (MASA Foundation) and is currently serving as a MASA Foundation Board member. He has participated in the American Association of School Administrators as well as a variety of other educational boards throughout his career. Dale is also the former founding Executive Director and current member of the 916 Foundation.
Dale was born and raised in Hibbing, Minnesota and began his education career as a teacher in Horace, North Dakota. He transitioned to the role of Superintendent at Horace in 1959 and subsequently served as Superintendent for Red Lake Falls, Hutchinson, and Humboldt-St. Vincent School Districts in Minnesota, as well as North East Metro Intermediate School District #916 in White Bear Lake, MN, until his retirement in 1995.
